Mass Effect - Rules


Galaxystates

I do not have a singular default galaxystate. While I have preferences and biases towards certain outcomes, I also enjoy variety, and each muse has their own galaxystate that they default to, and occasionally alternate ones for specific verses.

I am also open to utilising my partners' galaxystates, and/or crafting custom galaxystates for private verses & AUs — I am working on putting together a form to assist in crafting custom galaxystates, though as I said, it will be limited to those with private verses & AUs, which typically require plotting via discord.


Integrating Andromeda

TBA - Essentially the Andromeda Initiative and it's respective timeline, NPCs, etc. exist within the greater Mass Effect timeline and universe, and are not ignored within my writing of the setting. Various characters, events, etc. are acknowledged by my Mass Effect muses, even if they are unaware of the events that will occur when the arks reach Andromeda itself.


Unnamed Shepard

In cases where Shepard is an ambiguous NPC, I default to the following:


Destroy Ending Only

In terms of roleplay, I only write with the intention of it being the Destroy Ending (or, theoretically, the Ignore Ending, where the cycle continues because Shepard is no longer in the galaxy to stop the Reapers, as would be the result of the Trapped In Another World AUs).

However, I rely heavily on canon-divergence where the ending is concerned, much like those found in the various Happy Ending mods. So while the Reapers are destroyed, the following is also true:
